Trout

The sea trout on the west coast maybe don’t have the same weight like on the east coast.
But they come in large numbers and the weight is getting better every year.
Nissan is one of the best rivers in March/April for sea trout and just this year around 1000 sea trout have been caught in zone 0 and 1.
This year we have seen that the size is getting bigger and fish up to 5kg has been taken.
Zone 0 and 1 are best for spinning but a few spots are good for fly-fishing.
In may it’s better to fish by the coast after sea trout and the night fishing in summer time is really good.
In the autumn the sea trout start to rice again but still the coast is better.
If the water level is high it’s possible to catch sea trout in every river even in September.
From 1 of June there is a new minimum limit regarding the length = 45cm. This will bring even better fishing in the future.
Sea trout are really beautiful and to catch fishes like the pictures below gives you memories for the rest of your life.
